Oral sex causes mouth cancer?
Mouth cancer is quite a rare disease; mostly heavy smoking and drinking can cause this type of tumor. Now researchers found that in a small number of people with oral cancer the HPV virus was present; its presence was more common amongst people who practiced oral sex, than in smoker cancer patients. The good news is that oral cancer is still very infrequent; tobacco and alcohol are by far the biggest causes, so you don't have to say no to oral sex.
Oral tumors can be caused by human papilloma virus, transmitted during oral sex, US scientists say.
